“He’s my role model, and I like to score many goals like him,” Gutierrez said. “I wrote a paper about him in school.” “As a community, this event was great because it gave the kids the opportunity to come together and be present,” Kimberly Gutierrez said. Tamra Martinez had her daughter Kailee, 7, and son Bently, 9, at the event. She felt nostalgic since she played for the Uvalde High School soccer team in the late 1990s.

And as a community member, the least he could do was to care about others, which is why he and the whole team created this event.
