“We see a lot of those young girls outside school or after matches and they are running up to us to give us hugs and are there supporting us. “I don’t really feel a responsibility or pressure to be a role model,” she said. “It’s something we just do anyway. “The majority of our players do it naturally. We stop and talk to the young girls in the parish and we see them play their matches. You do it anyway.”
