This means you will have waited ten months until you receive the right chair. A John Lewis spokesperson said: “We’re so sorry that Ms R received the wrong colour chair and for the delay in resolving this for her. We’ve contacted Ms R to say sorry and have provided a gesture of goodwill to apologise for the error.”
I bought a new Dacia Duster in April 2021, paying £12,785 cash, reduced from £13,500 as I traded in my old car. The first week a fault light came up on the dashboard with a message saying I needed to check the brake. I spoke to the Dacia dealership I bought the car from and they said they couldn’t book it in for repair for another two weeks.
I have broken down after the car went into limp mode which is when a car detects a problem and causes the less important However, the same lights came up on your dashboard and so, again, you had to take it back in. This time they said it was the brake pipe that needed replacing and you had to wait another month, without your car but again with a rental car, for the new part to be fitted.
After refusing, you were pushed back towards customer services which told you that if a fault cannot be identified then customers don’t qualify for a refund. You have been round in circles with Dacia who seem to have no intention of actually resolving the issue – or giving you your money back. I got in touch with the firm and told them that so much back and forth without any actual progress seemed ridiculous.
