Nick and Toyah have grown closer Last week in Coronation Street, Toyah Battersby opened up to Nick Tilsley about a secret she had kept hidden since the early 2000s. Toyah told Nick that when she was 19 years old, she gave birth to a stillborn baby girl and buried her in North Cross Park.
Nick and Toyah spent the majority of the day working together at the Bistro. When Nick got talking about expanding the business, he suggested Toyah could become manager. Toyah was reluctant to accept the offer, adamant she couldn’t be responsible for other people because she had too much going on in her mind. Later, Toyah found Nick and put forward the idea of the Bistro working with a charity that hires ex-offenders.
