A giant mural has been unveiled in Coventry’s FarGo Village, picturing a greener version of the city, as imagined by children around the country.
Children seem to understand exactly what is needed to help the environment The problem with getting people engaged with environmental issues is that the older you are, and the more likely you are to be able to affect things directly, the less the problems impact you. For children growing up today though the state of the environment is vitally important, as shown by a new initiative in Coventry. Funded by energy company E.
‘It has been inspiring to see how children interpret what a more sustainable future could consist of within this city. My personal favourite is the robots picking up litter and the animals living alongside us in an ecologically diverse environment. As a Coventry local myself, I am excited to see this all come to life as well as witness the artistic talents of the next generation,’ said Barter.
