Stephen Ross remains ‘unresponsive’ in hospital nearly three almost three weeks after he suffered a brain aneurysm in his hotel room on September, 24.
A Glasgow man has spent weeks in Spanish intensive care after he fell and hit his head while on holiday in Benidorm.
"I screamed for help and the cleaner came back to the room. She couldn't get in so I had to lift up his legs so she could get in. She put him into recovery and phoned an ambulance." The complex brain surgery involves removing part of the skull to allow surgeons to locate the blood vessel that feeds the aneurysm and cut it off. Tragically the operation was unsuccessful with Stephen being rushed back to surgery the next day on September 28, after fluid caused pressure to build in his brain.
