Scot jailed for sending nude photo of daughter to undercover cop posing as a paedophile
A dad has been jailed for taking a naked photo of his six-year-old daughter and sending it to an undercover cop posing as a paedophile.
But the depraved father, who can’t be named for legal reasons, had actually been in contact with a police officer tasked with snaring him in a web sting. Sheriff Kenneth Campbell KC jailed him for 13-and-half months for what he previously branded a “gross breach of trust”.At last month’s hearing, fiscal depute Gillian Koren told how the National Crime Agency contacted Police Scotland to inform them the accused had been identified during one of its operations.
The cop made contact with the accused on the Kik messenger service, the prosecutor said, and the target boasted he had access to a child - his own daughter.
