Scotland could see Northern Lights this weekend with one area having best chance

The ethereal phenomenon could reappear over one area of Scotland on Saturday evening.

A display of the Northern Lights this weekend could stun Scots this weekend, the Met Office has predicted.

The Met Office says areas where the skies are clear have the best shot of seeing the otherworldly show. Come Saturday night, conditions could be dry and clear enough to see auroras in the far north. The outlook for Saturday includes sunshine and showers whilst more wet and windy weather hits England and Wales.
