Tripadvisor's Summer Travel Index has revealed the top destinations in the UK to travel to for a weekend as we approach the end of summer, and two lovely Scottish spots are included.
A new study by Tripadvisor has revealed the top trending destinations across the UK, and two stunning Scottish locations appear on the list.
While there are countless things to see and do across Scotland, the travel website Tripadvisor has put together the most popular spots for a holiday as part of its Summer Travel Index. According to Tripadvisor, some of the top places to see near Aviemore include the Rothiemurchus estate, the freshwater Loch an Eilein, and the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Meanwhile, the Ravenscraig Guest House is ranked as the top place to stay, while the Old Post Office Cafe Gallery is the best place to eat according to the travel site.
