A flight to Edinburgh declared a mid-air emergency on Saturday morning while en route from Orlando, Florida.
Virgin Atlantic later confirmed that a passenger had become unwell, and the aircraft was met by a medical team upon landing, reports Edinburgh Live. A Virgin Atlantic spokesperson said: “Due to one of our passengers becoming unwell onboard, the VS226 travelling from Orlando to Edinburgh requested a priority landing and the aircraft was met by a medical team.
