A lonely pensioner who has been making YouTube videos for two years with barely a single viewer has gained almost half a million followers after he was spotted by a big-hearted teen.
Kristian quickly set about campaigning for Pat to get more views, calling on his own online fans to give the pensioner a follow. "I was reading all the messages people had sent me and it was very overwhelming. I've been on this earth for three quarters of a century and I've never known such kindness.Pat, who lost his wife in 2010, started making the videos to get out and about more.
In one of the clips, which featured in the TikTok video, Pat is seen wearing a Santa hat as he spends Christmas Eve in the forest, deep frying Camembert cheese and drinking homemade mead. Hundreds of comments have now been left on the videos from Pat's fans with messages of support from all around the world.
