Thanksgiving takes place in the US on November 23 - and will be available to experience in the capital.
A Scots restaurant has launched an exclusive Thanksgiving feast to celebrate the US holiday in style on the other side of the pond.
Diners will be treated to a traditional American menu of Roasted Bronze Turkey with all the trimmings, Mushroom and Brie Wellington and Sweet Potatoes topped with marshmallows and finished with Bourbon Pecan Pie. Thanksgiving is a traditional US holiday originally founded to celebrate the harvest - but in modern times is used to celebrate blessings of the past year. The meal features similar dishes to a British Christmas dinner.
A spokesperson for Duck & Waffle said: "Thanksgiving is traditionally an American holiday, but there are plenty of reasons to celebrate in Edinburgh with Duck & Waffle tasty new dining experience.
