Scots holidaymakers were left stranded at Barcelona Airport for 27 hours after their Ryanair flight to Edinburgh was cancelled
.
One of those supposed to be on the flight said around half of the passengers were left without accommodation until Tuesday morning. A Ryanair spokesperson said: “This flight from Barcelona to Edinburgh was delayed overnight due to a minor technical issue with the aircraft. Affected passengers were notified and subsequently updated on the status of their flight through SMS, email and push notification.
