A traumatised mum says her six-year-old daughter is lucky to be alive after slicing her throat on a protruding nail in a Stirling play park

After a complaint to Stirling Council, an emergency repair was made on the play equipment, but Nykola, who lives near the park at the Top of the Town, is warning other parents to steer clear as she feels it could still be unsafe.“She was playing innocently at the park with her wee pal.“Lexi was climbing up the ladders on to the platform of the chute.
“I could have lost my daughter on Saturday and Stirling Council need to take full responsibility for it. A spokesperson for Stirling Council said yesterday that repairs had been carried out following the incident and the play area had now been fully checked and was considered safe.
