A Scottish Government advisory body on poverty is in disarray after the resignation of three of its commissioners.
Established in 2019, the Poverty and Inequality Commission provides independent advice and scrutiny to Scottish Ministers. Bamford wrote: “Apologies for the delay in my response. The last few weeks have been an extremely stressful and anxious period as myself and my fellow Commissioners were not aware that our Chair had nominated us for reappointment.
