Scottish party leader Alex Cole-Hamilton was joined by UK party leader Ed Davey, as the pair claimed the service has been neglected by the Scottish and UK governments.
“Dentists are being driven away from the NHS because working with this SNP government is harder than pulling teeth.” Mid Dunbartonshire, which was previously East Dunbartonshire before it was amended under boundary changes, was won by the SNP with just 149 votes, with former Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson in second place.In 2019, the party won just four of the 59 Scottish seats but boundary changes will see just 57 seats up for grabs north of the border.
