Dundee host Hearts and Aberdeen visit St Mirren in the final Scottish Premiership matches of the weekend.

For all the plaudits Aberdeen have received following their two-goal comeback to draw away to Hacken in midweek, it has to be pointed out that their only victory in four outings this season has come with a 2-1 extra-time win away to third-tier Stirling Albion to progress to the Viaplay Cup quarter-finals.

In contrast, St Mirren are on a six-game winning run since their shock opening Viaplay Cup loss away to third tier Montrose. Indeed, they beat Motherwell last time out to progress to quarter-finals and, as pointed out earlier, would go top of the Premiership should they win their third league game of the season today.Article Reactions
