The trail is less than two hours away from Liverpool
This beauty spot provides spectacular woodland and waterfall views, just under two hours away from Liverpool. The nature trail boasts over four miles of ancient oak woodland and surrounds the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
The site is maintained by Ingleton Scenery Company, so there is an entry fee of £10 for adults 16 and over and £5 for children under 16. Children's activity packs are available for £1 from the ticket office. Kids can hand in the completed sheet at the ticket office to claim a prize. Many people stop at the viewing area to have a picnic before continuing their walk. The trail climbs up to Twistleton Lane and rewards hikers with a view of the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks. The walk continues to an oak woodland and leads to Beezley Falls, which consists of three waterfalls side by side.
