Seamus Coleman is set to feature in a competitive game of football for the first time since May this weekend as he steps up his recovery from a knee injury.
at Leicester but could be reintroduced to competitive action against Manchester United’s under-21s at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday. Manager Sean Dyche said: “Seamus is going well. He’ll hopefully get involved in a game for the under-21s this weekend. “He needs some game time, of course, but he’s training very well and I think he’s pleased to be back on the grass.”
Stephen Kenny is set to name his Ireland squad to face the Netherlands in Ireland's final Euro 2024 qualifier, as well as for a friendly with the Netherlands in the coming weeks and should all go to plan, Coleman should be part of it.
