Second arrest made after man suffers 'serious head injuries' in attack near Rishton pub
Police have arrested a second man on suspicion of GBH following a violent attack near a pub in Rishton.
Over the weekend the force issued an appeal to anyone with information about the incident. A 35-year-old was also arrested following the assault, on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm.In an update last night, the force confirmed the man has now been eliminated from their enquiries. A 38-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm and remains in custody for questioning.
