Another League of Ireland player has been slapped with a 10-game ban, for using ‘discriminatory language’.

Dundalk’s George Shelvey was hit with 10-games last week for “breaching the FAI regulations on Racism/Discrimination” after a comment to referee Rob Harvey. A statement from the FAI read: “An Independent Disciplinary Committee of the FAI has sanctioned UCD AFC player Harry Curtis for using discriminatory language towards a Kerry FC player in the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division fixture on 10 May 2024.
