One teen was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and a second has since died in hospital - the e-scooter collided with a bus
A second teen has lost his fight for life after the electric scooter he was travelling on was struck by a bus in Waterford city during the early hours of this morning.
One of the males who was travelling on the e-scooter was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to Waterford University Hospital with serious injuries. "One person travelling on the e-scooter, a male youth in his teens, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second male youth in his teens, who was also travelling on the e-scooter was taken to Waterford University Hospital with serious injuries. He passed away from his injuries earlier this afternoon.
