The works will take place at night but some early morning or night commuters could be affected
Sections of one of the country’s busy commuter motorways are to be closed over several dates this month.
The M50 northbound and southbound between Junction 13 Sandyford and Junction 17 where the M50 and M11 merge will be closed from 10pm to 5am, on a number of dates this month. Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland has made an order to close these sections of the motorway.The Northbound carriageway will be closed from Wednesday January 18 to Friday 20, Monday 23 to Thursday 26.
The Southbound carriageway will be closed from Monday 16th of this month to Wednesday 18 also from 10pm until 5am each night.Several diversions will be in place and for traffic travelling southbound and northbound on M50 from Junction 14 to Junction 17 .
