After a five-year absence, a reinvented U2 appears at the Summit for a stop on the first leg of their Zoo TV tour, April 6, 1992. In a Chronicle review, Marty Racine said"the Irish quartet's vaunted righteous mysticism comes down to Earth. Its gimmicky Summit concert Monday was defined by spectacle and a little cheesecake.
Sixteen-year-old Tiger Woods was in The Woodlands that month for the Taylor Made Woodlands Junior Classic.
