RTE's Home of the Year returned to our screens last week for its tenth season, and the latest episode of the hugely popular property series offered viewers a peek inside the stunning home of TV and radio presenter Seán Munsanje.
READ MORE: Home of the Year: See all nine previous winning houses as RTE series returns for 10th season The rebuild began March 2021 and was completed that November, with the couple completely transforming the house and more than doubling it in size from 650sq feet to 1500 sq ft. With the property located on a corner plot, they were able to make full use of the garden and designed it to wrap around the home, creating different zones such as a south facing patio, a green area and a raised west facing decking.
Minsanje and Doyle also gave the downstairs living room an overhaul, painting the walls in dark colours to transform it into a cosy spot for evenings in, while also adding wood burning stove. Bone was particularly impressed with the 'brilliant' entrance hallway and the 'clever design moves throughout the home' as she awarded the property eight points, while Cosgrave hailed the rebuild as 'contemporary, crisp and well executed' as she awarded the property nine points.
