Met Eireann meteorologist Joanna Donnelly invites RSVP Home into her dreamy home in the idyllic town of Portmarnock
Joanna Donnelly purchased a gorgeous house in a exclusive estate in the idyllic cosatal town of Portmarnock with her husband and fellow Met Eireann meteorologist Harm 17 years ago, during a turbulent time in the Irish property market. Over the years, the couple have improved the home and put down roots in more ways than one, developing the gardening into something Diarmuid Gavin would approve of and bringing home three children Nicci, 20, Tobias 16 and Casper, 14.
"Although we bought here at a bad time, my first purchase was at a very good time. I bought an apartment in the city in 1994 for €32,000. I was 24 and it was unusual at the time. All my friends were out partying and I was paying a mortgage.
