Singing sensation Selena Gomez has opened up about her personal struggles, boldly claiming she's not ashamed of them.
She delivered a fierce message while at the gathering: "I truly believe that there is power in being vulnerable and telling people when you need help, when you want help." Her defiance was clear as she stated: "That is not shameful. So yeah, I shared that I can't carry a child. Yeah, I shared I have bipolar, f*** off. That's what my life is like.
With empowering words, the actress urged: "So do not ever let anyone tell you that you are not a good person, that you aren't kind, that you won't treat people with respect." In a passionate endorsement of self-worth, Selena added: "'Cause that is not lame, that is so cool of you guys. And that is the fact. So, screw anyone who tells you you're a victim. You're a survivor in my book.
The US star is currently in a relationship with music producer Benny Blanco, who she collaborated with on the 2015 hit Same Old Love and the 2019 track I Can’t Get Enough featuring Tainy and J Balvin. Discussing their romance, she said: "I’ve never been loved this way. He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything."
