Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco have revealed the painstaking process behind designing Gomez's engagement ring - and how Blanco nearly 'f**ked up' the proposal
Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco has opened up about the meticulous process behind designing Gomez's engagement ring and revealed just how Benny almost "f**cked up" the proposal.
In the chat with Interview Magazine, Benny admitted he was scared he had ruined the entire proposal, despite managing to pull it off. He said: "It was the sickest surprise that she had no idea about and it couldn't have come at a better time because I was starting to f**k up. The thing that makes me so crazy is, you're getting engaged, and right before, they're like, 'Show me how good of a liar you are. Sneak around and try to do this perfect thing without me knowing.
In the photos, Gomez beams while sitting on a picnic blanket happily staring at her ring in one picture and, in another, the star cuddles up to Benny, for a sweet embrace as he gives her a kiss on the head. In her rogue post in August, the Emilia Pérez star shared a photo of herself posing in front of a mirror, but placed two very strategic hearts over her left ring finger. Benny, for his part, also appeared in the image but was not facing toward the camera.
