A senior SNP councillor has taken a swipe at the Scottish Government over funding delays for a children’s food programme

“Given the scale of poverty in the city, it is truly astonishing there has been no commitment on this by the First Minister. Children in his constituency who are suffering from the cost of living crisis are being failed by it. Glasgow deserves better." In a statement to councillors, Bell said: “Regrettably, colleagues, as I present this paper to you today, the investment commitment and guidelines remain unavailable.”
