Sesame Place announced diversity and inclusion training for all employees to quell backlash over recent viral videos of characters appearing to ignore Black children and to make the amusement park more welcoming.
: “We are committed to making sure our guests feel welcome, included and enriched by their visits to our park.”
The changes will be developed and overseen by experts in civil rights and diversity, equity, and inclusion, the park said.
