SesameStreet icon and original cast mate dies 'peacefully' as tributes pour in
Bob McGrath, who played one of the original human characters on Sesame Street, has died at the age of 90.
His family has now shared that the star has passed away as they took to his Facebook page to write: "Our father Bob McGrath, passed away today. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family," alongside a picture of him. They wrote: "Sesame Workshop mourns the passing of Bob McGrath, a beloved member of the Sesame Street family for over 50 years.
