The body of Peyton Sky Davis was found at Lake Fort Phantom Hill in Abilene, Texas, after a toolbox was pulled from the water. The baby's mother and her boyfriend are facing charges

A seven-month-old baby boy was found dead stuffed in a toolbox in a river by a horrified fisherman before police swooped on his mum and her boyfriend.

Speaking on their devastating ordeal, the grandmother disclosed how the family remained oblivious to the investigation surrounding Peyton until receiving a fateful telephone call from a Detective Scott asking if Peyton was with her son. That led to authorities searching where he was staying. Tracy is now questioning why Peyton's parents let the tragedy happen, asking: "Why not call for help when you noticed she was gone," Why did you put her in a shed? Why did you put her in a lake? Peyton, we love you so much. You were our world, and you're going to be our world no matter what. One day we'll be with you again and I will get to hold my baby."

The body of Kyneddi Miller was discovered in April in the Morrisvale community of Boone County. Her case sparked a state investigation into whether law enforcement and child protective services could have done more to prevent her death.
