Johnny Sexton has been backed into odds-on favourite at 10/11 to be named the RTÉ Sportsperson of the Year for 2023 ahead of Ireland's Rugby World Cup quarter-final clash with New Zealand.Ireland are set to kick off as 8/11 favourites with Boylesports to overcome New Zealand for the third consecutive time following their victorious test series last summer.
Ireland are also 11/4 favourites to go all the way and lift the Webb Ellis Cup in Paris later this month, with France , South Africa and New Zealand all trailing the world’s top ranked side, who are on a run of 17 straight test wins.
