Hitmaker Shakira’s mum has been rushed to hospital with a blood clot in her leg related to deep vein thrombosis following initial reports that she’d suffered a stroke
Shakira is facing fresh heartbreak in the wake of her mum being taken to hospital as a matter of “urgency” after being found to have a blood clot in her leg.
Apparently the condition has not affected Nidia’s brain, but Shakira is yet to comment on her mother’s health.OK! have contacted Shakira’s representatives for comment. "I just wanted to let you know that those photos are from last weekend when my dad unfortunately had a bad fall and I accompanied him in an ambulance to the hospital where he is recovering now."
She shares the youngsters with ex Gerard Pique, whom she split from last May after more than a decade together.
