Shamrock Rovers have been handed a Europa Conference League play-off round clash with Norwegian side Molde in February.Rovers played Molde during the 2022/23 Conference League group stages, and lost 3-0 away and 2-0 in Dublin. But given their sensational run in this year's competition, they can be confident of putting up a better fight this time around.
The Hoops qualified comfortably for the knockouts with a game to spare, and were still in with a shout of automatic progress to the last-16 prior to Thursday night's defeat to Chelsea. Jagiellonia Bialystok also nudged ahead of Rovers on goal-difference thanks to their draw with Olimpija Ljubljana.
