SHAMROCK ROVERS HAVE confirmed the signing of Welsh international and former Celtic defender Adam Matthews .

Matthews began his career at Cardiff City, before joining Celtic in July 2011. He made 150 appearances for the Scottish club, winning four league medals and one Scottish Cup. Matthews has won 14 caps for Wales, his last appearance coming in a friendly in 2018 against Uruguay.— Shamrock Rovers FC January 28, 2025 “We’re absolutely delighted, he’s one we’ve been working on for a while now and had many conversations,” stated Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley.
