League of Ireland champions Shamrock Rovers are already guaranteed group stage football as they prepare for their Europa League play-off.
Shamrock Rovers have warned that they will not allow RTÉ to broadcast any more matches from Tallaght Stadium this year over the failure to show any of their European games so far on live television.
Rovers confirmed on Monday that, following negotiations, Thursday’s first leg will be available for Hoops fans in Ireland and the UK to watch on LOITV. Rovers used Monday’s announcement to criticise the fact that none of their four rounds in Europe - two in the Champions League and two in the Europa League - will have been televised.
