Dan Brown endured a disappointing finish on Saturday at The Open Championship but the Yorkshireman remains in the fight for the Claret Jug heading into the final round
Dan Brown's unexpected bid for Claret Jug suffered a late blow on Saturday with a double bogey at the last seeing him fall out of the lead at The Open Championship .
Players smoking on the course has become a hot topic on social media in recent weeks and months, sparked by LPGA Tour star Charley Hull and her mid-round cigarette breaks. Brown was seen lighting up during his round on Saturday, sheltering beneath an umbrella as relentless rain rolled in off the Firth of Clyde.
Brown, ranked 272 in the Official Golf World Ranking, has been spending the week in a rental house with his pals, and they have been making the most of their adventure in Scotland, although – fortunately – they have not been keeping Brown awake at night.
