Shane MacGowan rushed to hospital as his wife asks Pogues singer's fans to 'send prayers'
The track is written by The Pogues' Jem Finer and sung by Shane with British singer Kirsty MacColl.
It has has sold close to 1.5 million copies and in the UK it is the most-played Christmas song of the 21st century.Just days ago, Shane went viral after becoming one of the music world's least likely TikTok users. The singer has so far posted several videos on the platform, including one where he tells Danny Baker he’s written some great songs but “doesn’t like to boast”.
