The Irish actor tied the knot with her ex-husband, Jeremy Rainbird in 2005 and had two daughters before separating in 2019.
Chatting on the How To Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day, the 54-year-old acknowledged that their separation had been inevitable and had been coming for quite a while.“We got together, we had a baby, and we made it work for a long time, and we had another baby, and he was involved in the business but there came a point where it was so clear that it wasn’t right for either of us.”
“It’s an odd one because, I’ve never been happier but I’m angry at myself, not for the failure of the marriage but for not figuring it out earlier,” she continued. “It’s a weird one because, yes, it failed but it’s had such a positive impact on my life,” she told the podcast.
