A suspected gun has been recovered by police near Shaw's Bridge in Belfast.
It was found by a member of the public on Friday afternoon.Read more: Bag of bullets found in river at Belfast beauty spotA police spokesperson said: "Police received a report that a suspected firearm had been found by a member of the public in the vicinity of Shaw’s Bridge, South Belfast just after 2.30pm on Friday 6 January."The item, which is believed to have been in the water for some time, was removed for forensic examination.
