Graham thrives in the flux of an ever-changing production with input from cast and crew . He turned the murder-mystery genre on its head from the start by revealing who the two murderers were, killing off key characters early, and throwing in early twists a lesser series would have strung out to the finale.
He adds: “I’ve a really low tolerance for a kind of politics that looks for short term divisions just to gain political capital in a particular moment. Because we know, and I hope that’s the story we tell inthat they always have long term human consequences and it’s really painful. The hardest thing to do is to govern on a platform of uniting people and not leaning into us-and-them politics of dividing people by groups; whether that’s culture, politics, class, left and right, north and south.
