The vicar is clearly agitated as he takes a phone call, and it soon becomes clear why he’s feeling that way. As Manpreet Sharma arrives, Charles explains that the police have decided to drop son Ethan’s hit and run case, meaning that the culprit may never face justice.
She was left totally devastated when news of Ethan’s death began to circulate, horrified that she was responsible, and was prepared to hand herself into the police. However, husband Caleb Miligan stopped her in her tracks by revealing that Ethan hadn’t been killed by the hit and run, but had suffered an aneurysm.
