A video has been shared far and wide showing the shocking state a Cork hotel room was left in after St Patrick's Day celebrations. Bank holiday weekends can sometimes get a bit messy, but this video shows a room that's way worse than just a few too many drinks. From cider bottles on the bathroom counter to half-eaten takeaways on the windowsill, it's hard to believe anyone could sleep in such a mess.
The video starts by showing the bathroom with Bulmers bottles next to an overflowing bin and towels dumped for the cleaners to pick up. The camera then swings around to show the rest of the room, which is even more of a tip, reports Cork Beo. The camera moves to the wardrobe, where there's a white powder spilled inside the safe and across a notebook left by the guests. As the people filming walk across the room, you can hear crisps and popcorn crunching under their feet - it seems like the guests scattered a whole variety pack all over the room and its furniture. Everywhere you looked in the room, there was rubbish. There were bits of food, sweet wrappers and takeaway boxes all over the place, alongside St Patrick's Day accessories, like a wig with Irish colours and what looks like a green football
