Due to a manufacturing fault, some could contain an “exposed nail” which could cause injury when worn.

The popular Dune Head and Heels branded boots were for sale in TK Maxx and Homesense in October 2022. They come in both knee-hight and ankle-hight varieties.

Issuing a recall notice today, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission said: “TJX Ireland Unlimited Company t/a TK Maxx and Homesense recalls Dune Head and Heels Boots. “The brand is Dune. The model is Head and Heels boots. The affected products are black heeled boots marked with ‘Dune’ and ‘Head & Heels’ on the sole and insert respectively, in knee-height and ankle-height varieties.The affected boots will have these product codes shown on the price sticker and receipt: 328003, 328047, 328050, 328070, 328100, 817084.
