Beauty fan sees 'drastic' results after trying £2 Lidl anti-ageing cream that's 'just like' £79 Charlotte Tilbury
Beauty fans are heaping praise on Lidl for a £1.49 anti-ageing Day cream which is being called a dupe for premium brand Charlotte Tilbury's iconic £79 Magic Cream. Lidl's budget anti-ageing cream costs fifty times less than the Charlotte Tilbury product, but promises to give 'plumper' and more glowing skin.
It also features Ethylhexyl Salicylate which can protect your skin from the winter sun. But does the cream really work as well as Charlotte Tilbury?Courtney Pochin, a reporter for our sister site the Mirror, decided to give Lidl's budget Charlotte Tilbury dupe a go for herself. Courtney says on day seven, she found 'drastic' results. The Cien Q10 cream doesn't come in the fancy packaging Charlotte Tilbury offers, but for under £1.50 it's not a bad-looking tub.
I would even go as far as to say the Lidl dupe has a nicer scent than the Magic Cream itself. The Charlotte Tilbury sample I had has a strong smell, which is more similar to sunscreen than moisturiser. For the first few days of using the Lidl cream, my skin looked and felt great. It was nice and soft and had a natural 'dewy glow' to it that many aspire to.
