The mum shared a photo of the bargain hot meal being dished up at the supermarket, but not everyone was impressed
Parents have jumped to the defence of a mum criticised for a children's meal she bought in a supermarket.
The meal, which her own daughter, seven-year-old Skyla also enjoyed, is part of the supermarket's current deal, where children can eat for just £1 with no minimum spend for adults. There's also the option of a cold pick and mix, where little ones get a sandwich, a drink and a piece of fruit to either eat in or takeaway.
"So many negative comments," said one woman. "It's what most kids like to eat for goodness sake, even if it's once a week. No need for kids to go hungry." "Fed is better than not fed," said the 31-year-old. "Plus it was a a treat while we were out. And they also had jacket potatoes, tomato pasta, pasta and meatballs.
