Shoppers are praising the range amid the cost of living crisis
Shoppers have taken to social media to praise one supermarket for their affordable range of non-branded essentials.
It comes amid the cost of living crisis which has seen the likes of shopping bills soar, leaving people forced to cut back on how much they buy and what they spend on their weekly shop. The range recently came under fire with some shoppers claiming the bright yellow design is "embarrassing poorer families" after the supermarket chain changed its white-packaged Smart Price value products to the more brightly designed Just Essentials range.
In response to the post, many people, despite the recent controversy, were keen to praise the supermarket for creating an affordable range, particularly at a time where bills are soaring.
