Two Lotto players from Wexford and Dublin are celebrating after winning and splitting Saturday night’s €2 million jackpot. The lucky shops that sold the golden tickets have been named.
Two lucky Lotto players are celebrating an extraordinary windfall after they both won Saturday night's €2 million jackpot, transforming their lives overnight. Each winner will receive €1 million, as they share the jackpot prize equally.
It was previously revealed that the winning ticket locations were Wexford and Dublin - however the exact shops that sold the tickets have now also been named. Tony Butler, Owner of the Maxon shop said that this isn't the first time his store has received a call from the National Lottery. He said: "Would you believe it? This is our second big win in just under a year! Last October, we sold a Lotto Plus 1 winning ticket worth €1 million to one of our customers.
