Sierra Canyon wins its programs third CIF title and first in Division 1 after a sweeping Mira Costa.
It marked the Trailblazers’ first CIF title victory since 2017 after winning the Division 4 title in 2016. Since then, Sierra Canyon has been hovering amid the Southern California girls volleyball giants for years, earning berths to the Division 1 playoffs in 2018 , 2019 , and in 2021 .
“My freshman year, we saying ‘ring season’, it didn’t happen. Junior year, same thing, it didn’t happen. This year I wanted it bad,” Babcock said of chasing a Division 1 title.
